GN South Robotics Club

Fri 4/9 our very own Motch will bring members of the SH Robotics team to thank us for support in advance of their trip to compete in the world wide competition in Atlanta. The organizer of the Robotics competition is a famous inventor (Segway etc) seeking to foster engineering in America. South HS Robotics have just won the Chairman's award in a multi state competition held last weekend at Hofstra. Many on the team are Alert junior volunteer firemen here in Town!!! His team competed with over 50 other Clubs from a number of States. They will now head for Atlanta 4/15 but will thank the Club for its support at our April 9 meeting. In addition they can provide a speaker and maybe the Robot!! at District Conference May 1.
