This was
our first multi Club breakfast. We were able to learn about various
projects in our neighborhood from different Rotary Clubs that
participated. A worthwhile idea.
In Manhasset on Oct 6 is their 11th year of hosting a circus!!Fun for kids and a good fundraiser.
They are also active in supporting our troops by supporting the "Shoebox Campaign".
In GN their major project is the turkey drive..last yr they distributed 1,000 turkeys.
Gov. Ravi
described the next world convention of Rotarians where many thousands
gather for a few days to review various projects around the world. This
year its in Thailand May6-9. Details to follow.
Leadership Institute is Sat 9/24 .

Next Fri we should develop action plan to support local food pantry that is managed by our very own Lisa!!
They collect clothes for sale or accept direct donation of non perishable foods.
