S H Robotics:
Best
Wishes for success to our South HS Robotics Team competing at Hofstra
Regionals this weekend to attend the global competition late April!!
This HS Club we sponsor has produced outstanding students who are able
to earn recognition and scholarships due to their efforts in this
endeavor. Our sponsorship will soon expand to the Saddle Rock Elementary
School which will focus on Lego robots, under the mentorship of fellow
Gold Coast Rotarian and educator John Motchkavitz.
April 8 Winetaster/Fundraiser:
Thanks
to Jerry for donating books, fancy hat and free chiropapractic session
from his son as prizes for April 8 Winetaster. We are currently
accepting checks and prizes towards its success. Mike will followup with
e mail invites to other Clubs and Jay will mail some more flyers to
those wishing to hang them in local area stores.
Gov. Ravi busy in Thailand helping to arrange next years World gathering of Rotarians!!
Ed suggested interesting new Club project with students..will do more research and bring to Board in April for discussion.
May 12 we will work with Westbury Club to conduct Art Auction for Haiti. Details to follow.
