Gov.
Donno stopped by on unofficial visit. He will make official visit Jan.
21 (mark your calendar). At formal mtg he reviews our Clubs plans for
growth/activities and Gov. provides his vision for the District. He
noted that he encouraged business networking as part of Rotary
experience.
Bruce of Bruce's Bakery will be on Food Network in"Cupcake Wars"
Dec.28!!!
Ed
will try to secure April 8, 2011 as date for Club's
Winetaster/Fundraiser at All Saint's Church. He will encourage Deaconess
and Father Pae to enjoy mtg with us as followup to President Jay's
visit to the Church.
Our
major project next few mths will be support of South HS Robot Club..we
shall seek sponsors from local community as well as work with 200
students to raise funds to maximize Club's ability to send members to
the world finals to be held in St. Louis.
The
Robot Club consists of 80 students led by Gold Coast Rotarian John
Motchkavitz. Students also serve as volunteer firemen and feed the
homeless so they engage in full range of community service and have
earned our support.
