Congratulations to Doug who was voted GQ award by the Club for his Fri color coordinated springtime attire!!
Great Installation Dinner..thnx to all for participating.
We
discussed the potential for a Rotary raffle to be shared amongst Clubs
that which to participate in our District. Betsy volunteered to manage
the books, Ed to obtain approvals but first await feedback
from Gov. Ravi and then other Clubs.
Pres Elect Jay will develop a plan for his tenure that will include projects and Club structure in the weeks ahead.
We
wish to support the following projects: Robots, Turkey Drive, Brucia
Fdn, Kids Day Out (second),House in Nicaragua, and Scholarship.
Doug
will meet with advisor at NH to discuss continued support for Womens
Club. Emma and Clarisse will organize bowling Kids Day Out.
The Club's Goal will be 100% Paul Harris Club.
Pres. Emma has submitted a request to have Betsy L and Jesse Gourdet to receive a Paul Harris Award.
We
will investigate establishing a program for all members to donate any
amount with which they are comfortable (on an annual basis) such that
they will reach the required sum needed to receive this recognition
within a reasonable time frame.
Dues are being collected..mail to Club address as previously noted.
Ed volunteered to recognize members birthdays..Sect'y Jay to compile the list of dates.
Congratulations
to Gov. Ravi who has been recognized by Rotary for achieving the second
highest % increase in membership out of all 33,000 Clubs in the world
(thus saving the District). We are proud to have him as a member of the
Club!!
