Congratulations
to Pres. Emma who will retire from her bank manager position June 1 but
who promises to continue to participate and inspire
our Club to get to the next level!!
President Elect Jay and Secretary Elect Lynn will attend a multi District training
program which will include our District as well as that of Suffolk and NY.
Jay
will focus on the Club next year and his only District activity will be
Leadership Institute. Lynn also will focus on the Club and has turned
down an offer to become an Assistant Gov. to do so.
We
are very pleased that Betsy Malik and Nadeem Wamiq have decided to
retain membership in the Club even though current responsibilities
preclude their attending many meetings. They both cited our Club's fine
people and worthy activities. They are always welcome when available.
March 24 Jay and Lynn will introduce our North HS student "Action for Women" Club Pres. to Jericho Sunrise Club.
We were able to obtain a truckload of medical supplies from a member of Flushing Rotary who we will invite to receive an award.
