The
Great Neck South Robotics team will depart for Atlanta to compete with
340 other teams from around the globe. The Team has 45 members and this
year 25 will attend. Total attendance at this event is 40,000 people!.
The Club has collected $1,000 to help
them
with trip expenses. Our very own John Motchkowitz has provided
inspirational leadership for these students and we wish them well. For

District
Conference: Program details will be distributed next week. Dates are
4/30 and 5/1 including options to attend segments consistent with your
schedule.
Installation
Dinner: 6/1 at Pearl East..top Chinese Restaurant on Long Island.
Celebrate installation of new team. Included in dues ..guests most
welcome at $55pp (cost).Fun banquet.
Jericho Sunrise Club hosts Mother's Day Bowling event Sunday May 16 from 3-5PM at Syosset AMF (111 Eileen Way). $20.
This
is our newest Club in the District and they are very generous and fun
to be with. Gold Coasters should attend and support them if available.
(Last time I bowled was 1952).
Lynn
will contact Flushing Club and get dates so that we may attend a
meeting there to honor member Stanley Suh. Mr. Suh donated a truckload
of medical supplies for Great Neck North High School "Action for Women"
Club.
Ed will arrange golf outing this summer by popular demand of members.

May 2 Gold Coast Tag sale at Lynn's home 20 Arrandale Ave.
Date is same as Great Neck Fair so expect crowds. Bring what you can donate early so we can set up.If it rains its cancelled.
GSE team from Taiwan will arrive at Gold Coast Club hosts home

and depart 5/2.They will mostly attend District Conference while with
us. Jay hosts men and Lisa the ladies with Lynn serving as
chaperone/chauffer for the ladies at District Conference.We will give
them a warm welcome.
