Club welcomed Kayla who lives in Delaware and rang Club bell. Busy schedule with Aunt Emma..bowling, horseback riding etc.
Past President Jay met with newly crowned Gold Coast President Mike in his North Shore Hospital room (located on Community Drive in Manhasset) after Friday mtg.
Mike expressed his deep appreciation for all the calls and visits from his fellow Gold Coasters. He awaits a date for surgery and expects to be there for quite some time. Somehow he managed to smuggle in a giant laptop and has his cell so he remains wired!! Suggest potential visitors call first to determine his location and availability of receiving visitors on any particular day.He discussed the budget and suggested some projects and expects the Club to move forward while he recuperates. We all wish him a speedy return!!
