David Richardson runs the Nassau County Boy Scout program.
He
has 35 yrs scouting experience having achieved Eagle Scout status and
is a member of the Order of the Arrow. He noted the close support
Rotary has given to the Boy Scouts which celebrates 100th anniversary
this yr. A great speaker he is interested in reaching out to volunteer
fire dept (will introduce him to our Alert FD member Motch!!). Did you
know we have our very own Eagle Scout? Webmaster Mike Baras.

Leslie Hunter manager of Roslyn Svgs Bank (Port Washington). She is a
friend and collegue of President Emma for the past 20 yrs and has
requested an application to become a member which we should discuss at
our next mtg.
Welcome Susan Cohen who is a Rotarian transferred from Pa
to
help manage Brandwine Assisted Living (Savoy on Little Neck Pkway is
nearest facility). She found us on the web (thnx Mike!!).
Her Mom lives in GN so looked forward to meeting with us to again engage in Rotary activities.
Jesse thanks all for their wishes..his family members in Haiti are safe.
He will display our Turkey Basket project based in Brooklyn
and run by his Brookdale Hospital team at the District Conference.
Clarisse is happy to report our well built in Haiti with grant money escaped damage from the earthquake.
Our
HS student Danielle has already begun to receive calls from Lynn's
note. She will collect unneeded walkers, wheelchairs etc for her
Alliance for Women Club. Secty Jay has obtained an invite for her to
speak at our new Jericho Club 3/24.
Our Gold Coast home being built in Nicaragua with Bridges to Community org is proceding well.
