Newest Gold Coast Rotary Club member Abul welcomed by IPP Emma and President Jay

Condolences to friend of the Club Charles Panellino, husband of Clarisse,  on the passing of his mother.
Congratulations to Abul, who was officially inducted today (photo left).
TAG SALE Fundraiser: This Sunday Lynn will host Gold Coast Tag sale from 11-5 at 20 Arrandale Ave Great Neck. Please attend to help sell and bring items you wish to donate.
Thanksgiving Project: Each yr we donate funds to support Brookdale Hospital lab's Thanksgiving baskets drive. Please email Ed your holiday mailing list.
Nov 13 from 3-5 PM at Bruce's: Jesse will be signing his book of  poems.
Jesse will donate a portion of proceeds for charity.
Julia finalizing proposal for Yazoo City HS school spirit project.
Emma plans to travel there early Nov.to visit Yazoo Club to support this project.
Grant: Motch updating grant request with invoices so RI can provide grants to this great project.

Oct 26 District Membership Mtg at Gino's 1113 Jericho Tpke New Hyde Pk 6:30-8.
Any Gold Coasters may attend...plse advise Jay if attending.
Oct 30: Council of Presidents..Holiday Inn Westbury..Jay and Mike will attend.

Thanksgiving Project: Each yr we donate funds to support Brookdale Hospital lab's Thanksgiving baskets drive. Last yr the Club donated      $ 2000 supporting donations of 230 baskets. Plse e mail to Ed any holiday mailing list and he has volunteered to mail out his award winning fundraiser letter.
 
Nov 13 from 3-5 PM at Bruce's: Jesse will be signing his book of  poems. Lynn has arranged for a  poster of Jesse's poem dedicated to Gold Coast Club about bkfst at Bruce's. Will donate poster to Joel of Bruce's for them to hang on walls. Great photo op. Jesse will donate a portion of proceeds for charity.
